Getting Started

After reading the rules (which you should have done before joining), it is recommended that you head on over to the Species information board to find out a bit more about the animals that are available for roleplay on the site. This done, head on over to the Character bios board to begin writing your characters bio.

Choose which of the two bios you intend to use (note: Advanced bio requires all information to be in depth, so you should not attempt to use it unless you know the character extremely well). Click the thread and copy the bio within (Bio templates thread holds templates for a number of different species), then hit the back button.

Scroll down (or up) to the toolbar that can be found directly above and bellow the threads in all boards and select the new thread option.

Put the characters name in the subject bar, then paste your chosen bio into the message box. Fill out all of the fields and, when you are finished, hit the Spell Check button to catch any spelling mistakes that may be in the post. This done, hit post message. (If you need to leave before you have finished the bio, then post it with the addition of {Unfinished} in its title)

5. Wait for a member of staff to look it over and make any changes that they request of you.

Once a member of staff has accepted the bio, you are free to roleplay in the boards.

Posting a thread uses steps 3 & 4 (with the character name being replaced with the title and the bio replaced with the post). To modify a thread you have posted, simply click on the modify option (top right hand side of post) and to reply to a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page and either type your post in Quick Reply, or select the reply button (toolbar at bottom of the thread)

PMs, Chat & Questions
To chat with other users who are online at the same time as you, scroll to the bottom of the page and leave a message in the C-box, and to send a PM, go to the members main profile (by clicking on their name) and select “Send Personal Message”

If you have a question to ask about anything on the site, check the FAQ (in the questions board), the Site Information threads and the Species Information threads to make sure it has not already been covered, then post your question as a new thread in the Questions board, as a message in the C-box or send it as a PM to one of the members. Do not post it in any board other than the Questions board, as this tends to irritate other members.
