The Sacred Plains A large ice plain deep in the frozen lands that has been around for millennia. The Scared Plain is said to be a place of powerful raw magic and it is also the one place in the frozen lands where all inhabitants may meet and travel without fear of being killed by the predators. Every now and then a call goes out to all of the frozen lands species, calling them to this plain for a meeting. While they are here, they may not kill any other creature. Not only is this plain the safest place around and the home of the tundra’s ancient power, but it is also the home of the mage. An ice bear who has learnt to harness the raw magic of the tundra. The mage is at the very top of the ice lands hierarchy, being the one who has trained all of the ice lands top healers. This ice bear is the most powerful of the lot and sometimes she agrees to train others…..weather they are ice bears or not. The Sacred Plains are guarded by the spirits of all those who have died in the ice lands. The borders of these plains are surrounded by swirling snow and treacherous winds whilst the plains themselves are engulfed by thick mist. A mist which fades only when the mage wishes it to.
The Ice Fort A huge fort made primarily of ice with an inner shell of stone and rock. This fort is one of the largest structures ever to have been built in the Warrior lands. The ice fort has been around for longer than anyone can remember and was built by the ancestors of the bears that inhabit it today. This is not a place you want to make a wrong move in, as it is truly the ice bears citadel and it is the palace of the mighty Ice king: Cainara.
The Bone Fort The contradiction of the ancient Ice Fort, the Bone Fort (or Bone Palace as Taner prefers to call it), was constructed over a time period of three years under the brutal eyes and punishments of Taner. Carefully built from the bones of vanquished enemies, seals, walruses, walrus tusks, some stone and the bones of a few washed up whales, the Bone Fort has become a structure as strong as the Ice Fort itself. With a shell of thick, impenetrable ice over each individual piece, this Fort will stand for years and perhaps even centuries to come. Being the ‘palace’ of Taner and the Fort of his rogue bears, this place reeks of death and many a surface within is stained red with the blood of the disobedient. At the Bone Fort, disobedience or disagreement towards Taner is treachery, treachery is punished by death, and the bones of the punished are added to the fort itself.
