{The Personality}
Arukas can be a complex character to understand, but his leadership skills are easily top notch. This is a wolf who leads his clan with friendly words and gentle gidance rather than assorted orders and laws, with many of his dealings with the internal affairs of the clan being completed in varrying, almost masterly ways. He rarely orders or demands obediance from his wolves, instead making light sugestions and subtle hints that his wolves almost always catch and follow, knowing that his words normaly prove to be the best course of action. When an argument or dispute breaks out within the clan he often lets those involved solve it for themselves – keeping a close eye on events of course, but he also steps in when things get out of hand or when they bring the matter to him and makes his decisions and ‘repares’ based soley on the facts, and as fairly as he possibly can. In many senses his actions within the clan are done with the softest of touches, often leaving it to appear that the solution was in fact their idea rather than his, for he long ago discovered that a wolf who thinks its there idea is much more likely to follow it through to its end. His subtle ways hint strongly at the more cunning, deviouse streak that he has had within him since his days as a pup, but these, as is obviouse through his dealings, have been haoned to such an extent that they can almost appear to be non-existant.

The Ezalb unconceously treats the clan much like an extended family, often giving him an almost fatherly air as he compleats his duties and keeps the clan safe and happy, skillfully smoothing over their varriouse disputes. Despite being one of the oldest members of the clan he shows no sign looking down upon the younger members, nor does he treat them as many other elderly leaders tend to do – that is, as slightly larger and older pups. Instead, he respects their indapendance and strength, fequently encouraging and aiding those younger members in their training and taking great delight in teaching any member for any time, even if he is only able to give them a pawfull of lessons. The clan in its entirety holds a huge ammount of respect for him, and this is most likely largly due the fact that he shows them just as much respect for remaining so strong in these hard times of war and sticking so close together in times of trouble. He welcomes any visitor to his clan enthusiasticly – especialy if they happen to be a candidate – and he always gives new members a good chance to prove themselves, striving to keep himself from making any hast judgements about them, and, though he tends to be a tad weary with those who are off a dark background, he will not turn them away unless they are truly dark or have taken part in those dispicable actions that many of their alliance have.

Arukas is particularly close to the Ileats of his clan, with Avinir and Whitefang being closer still, and, though this tighter bond his well known amongst his members (and many can see that Avinir and Whitefang are close enough to him to be family), they show no signs of minding for all know that this makes no real difference when it gets down to majoy decisions and solving disputes, for this leader always strives to keep his choices fair. They ae also fully aware that if it ever came to it he would be there to give up his life to protect them and that in an battle he will always be fighting at their head.
